It is: "Do they drop from the chest at this very moment ?"
Since I haven't seen one from that chest in the last two months I believe Anet removed them. Updates can happen unanounced...
So I can have an opinion if it happened or not.

Honestly, this answer has a 100% correct answer and seems to be a fact, but do you know the correct answer? No you don't, you think you know it but the release will eventually be postponed.
Do Eternal Blades drop at this very moment ? Anyone who says yes has an answer based on assumptions unless you have proof, which I haven't seen in two months.

Just because something is rare doesn't mean it doesn't drop at all. That's why its rare. If you and everybody else saw one dropping every other day, then they wouldn't be worth anything.
